Mystery E-mails

I just received the following e-mail: Hello Thomas, https://goo.gl/4RM4jc, Vern Martin. I don’t know anyone named Vern Martin, but I am itching to see where the site address would take me. Then, why did I just delete it? I deleted it as I do all e-mails that come from someone I don’t know or the e-mail address doesn’t match with what I have in my address book with the person sending the e-mail. I have learned the hard way that many of these types of e-mail contain viruses. Recently, I received an e-mail advertisement for a back brace. When I tried to delete it, it wouldn’t delete and my program froze. The e-mail had come through my Hotmail account. After trying twice to delete the e-mail, I went to the Hotmail site and deleted it there. Readers, be careful. Don’t open suspicious e-mails regardless of how tantalizing the curiosity.
