In An Instant

Yes, I am the last of the instant coffee drinkers. Each morning, when I get up, I first drink a bottle of water after which I carefully prepare my morning cup of coffee. While I am putting my ingredients into my mug, I have the water boiling in my whistling tea kettle. First I open one bag of Splenda. Next I add a heaping teaspoon of pure cane sugar plus a dash more sugar than fits into the spoon. I then dip into my jar of instant coffee and take a heaping teaspoon of the McDaniel’s Classic Roast instant coffee, being careful not to spill one grain. The final ingredient is Winn-Dixie’s Original Coffee Creamer which just barely covers the bottom of the mug. By then, the tea kettle should be whistling as I like my coffee¬†steaming hot. I am not quite finished as I must now carefully transport my mug of coffee from the kitchen to the computer room where I will enjoy every sip. If necessary, I will use the water warmer given to me by my friend Eido to keep it nice and hot. By the way, this is the only cup of coffee I have each day, having been told to cut back by my cardiologist. The mix is always perfect, as good as any dripped cup of coffee.
