One Week as Caymanites

Dimitris and I were fortunate to be invited with friends to spend a week at a time share on Grand Cayman. We flew to Grand Cayman on Cayman Air, landed in George Town, the capital, and rode by taxi to Morritt’s, the resort. The weather could not have been better all week–plenty of sunshine and no rain, perfect on-the-beach and in-the-pool weather. Dimitris and I made two side trips by public transportation to George Town (where we toured and ate Whoppers) and to Seven Mile¬†Island where we saw a Caribbean beach at its best. The resort had three pools, all different. There was a nice food market just down the road and a Subway restaurant where we had lunch one day. There were four of us in our condo, and the compatibility was perfect. We spent the evenings creating dinners and chatting about the day and about life. It was a wonderful relief from television and politics spent in Paradise.20160825_143941
