The Sugar Fairy

I don’t usually read children’s books, but I was compelled to read one recently. The title of the book is “The Story of the Sugar Fairies.” It was written by my daughter, Robin Mizwa. Robin lives with her husband Tom and daughter Gracey in Naples, FL. Yes, my little girl has written a “little” book. Not only has she written it, but she is promoting it at libraries and dental offices. The book is colorful and has a strong message regarding the sugar in candies and other foods. It definitely has a message to be learned by children about sugar and tooth decay and includes a solution for overcoming the desire for sweet things. The book is attractive to children because the narrative and the illustrations are so very colorful and professionally done. Robin wrote the narrative; the book is illustrated by an artist from Ukraine. Check out the website at The book would make a wonderful gift for kids from three to six years old.
