Don’t Give Up

The campaign for the 2016 presidency is in disarray, especially in the Republican corner. If I had to vote Republican, I am not sure for whom I would vote but probably John Kasich, who seems to have more level-headedness than any of the other Republican candidates. On the Democratic side, I will vote for Hillary Clinton, believing that she is the best-qualified person for the job despite the challenges to her veracity. In my opinion, we are so very fortunate to have had a President who has been as true to his promises as any President in a long time. His name is Barack Obama. We can only pray that we will elect the “right” person for the job again, someone who will push further the progress he has made. For goodness sake, we can’t give up on the democratic process despite the clowning that has been so evident in this campaign. All we can do is read, study, watch the debates and make as wise a judgment as possible. We still have a year to decide, and hopefully by November 2016, the best choice will be evident.

I Voted
