Weighted Appreciation

I have a new faucet in my bathroom, and I am so very grateful. That faucet had been dripping for far too long. For a while, when I twisted the knob to HOT, it wouldn’t drip. However, eventually it began dripping regardless. After procrastinating for months, I finally drove over to a building supply place and asked for advice. The clerk said: “You need a new faucet which you can easily install yourself.” The new faucet in a box along with some plumbing putty and other helpful items came home with me. Unpacking the faucet showed me immediately that I would not be installing this item unassisted. An emergency call for assistance was sent out, and the faucet has now been installed by a neighbor that I hired who works at Home Depot. I am so grateful for my new faucet. Checking out Facebook, as I do occasionally, I noticed that a high school classmate has recently purchased a new mobile home. She wrote enthusiastically about getting the new home set up for her moving in. It sounds silly to compare my faucet with her new home, but then we are both excited about new things in our lives that will make us happy.
