Loose Cannons

I am not a great movie reviewer. That’s my brother’s area of expertise (check him out at http://www.jackiecooper.com). However, every once in a while, we come upon a movie that makes us sit up and watch, not just once but several times. One of these movies is “Loose Cannons,” an Italian movie with subtitles. According to our Italian friend, Eido, the stars in this movie are well-known in Italy. The movie is gay-themed and contains fascinating twists and turns. Regarding authenticity, Eido said that, after watching the movie with us, he felt as though he had been back to Italy. Because of our enjoyment of this movie, we purchased a copy and have been inviting friends over to watch it. I’m not sure how many times we have viewed it, but we have another viewing coming up when Matt Russell, a friend who is very critical of movies, is coming over to watch it with us. So far, among friends, the movie has about a 9 out of 10 score. If you want to see an Italian comedy that is incredibly well-acted, check out “Loose Cannons.”

Maybe we watched it 10 times up to now! I’m sure you are going to like it even if you are not gay.

    Hi dear Thom,
I suggest you another movie from the same turkish director (ozpetek), it is another italian movie (gay themed) just because this director always lives and works in italy .. the english title is His secret life (the original one is.. le fate ignoranti) as the original of loose cannons is (mine vaganti)..
try to watch this movie and then let me know what you think about it ..
