ACA

Hardly anyone knows what the ACA stands for. Well, it’s the Affordable Care Act, which is more commonly known as Obamacare. At this time, the health care bill is before the Supreme Court which will decide whether the health care system can continue to subsidize membership in the program. Everything hinges on an interpretation of four words: “established by the state.” Should the justices rule against Obamacare, millions of people who are receiving subsidies in order to stay enrolled in the health care program will be unable to continue. Who knows how the justices will rule? Who knows whether they will consider the outcome for millions of Americans who are counting on Obamacare to provide them with affordable healthcare. I, for one, will be praying that at least five of these nine people will see to rule in favor of the government and once and for all put an end to Republican efforts to kill this program.
