Driving Hard

I bought my Hewlett Packard PC four years ago, and I have used it every day that I have been home. I generally turn on the computer at 5:00 in the morning when I arise, and I close it down when I go to bed. I store many things such as sent e-mails and clipart, but I don’t store movies, play games, or download a lot. However, I depend on my computer for scheduling, tracking my finances, keeping track of important papers (scanning), journaling, and writing my blogs. Several days ago, I had a drop-down warning me that my hard drive is seriously flawed and is going to cease working soon. I immediately began backing up my computer although I back-up many areas of my computer regularly. I’m not nearly as afraid of losing data as I am being without my computer for many days. Because of this fear, I ran a copy of my itemized plans for the month of June, which includes the dates and times of doctor’s visits as well as birthdays. Today, I will check with a computer expert to learn what I must do to repair or replace the hard drive, how much it will cost, and how long it will take. I’ll keep you posted.
