Fixing Government

I follow politics like a shadow, and I yearn for our government to work smoothly and cooperatively. The partisanship that has been shown over the past four years must stop. I was therefore greatly impressed with the recommendations from Mark McKinnon, GOP strategist, published in “Parade”magazine on November 4th. If I could make one addition to the list, it would be to get rid of Citizens United. Here are McKinnon’s recommend-ations:

    Perhaps it is our age. We do remember when parties frequently reached across the aisle to settle issues. I too really liked the views in this article. And I agree with George H. Bush when he said in his Parade article “who in the hell is Grover Nordquist” . Our representatives have been shanghaied.
